    About this map

2026 is the Nevada Secretary of State's VIVID dashboard, snapshotted through the day. VIVID keeps no history, so earlier points exist only where we saved them. 2024 and 2022 are the Secretary of State's published turnout reports, which give ballots by county and party registration.

Nearest point compares against the published report closest in days before Election Day. For 2024 in person that is the same early-voting day, from the per-day tables. 2022 has only weekly reports, so its nearest point can be several days off; compare party shares, not raw totals. Final is the last report of early voting that year.

Each county is colored by how far its D−R margin has moved since the comparison point you pick. The margin is ballots cast by registered Democrats minus registered Republicans as a share of all ballots. It is not a vote count for any candidate.

Other is nonpartisan and minor-party voters. The Other split assigns each county's Other ballots to D and R in that county's D:R ratio for the same ballots, then sums the counties. It is a heuristic, not a measurement.

Mail is mail and EASE ballots returned and accepted (2024 and 2026); 2022's weekly report lists mail ballots returned. Where a 2026 county has accepted fewer than half of the mail ballots it has received, received ballots are used. All figures are unaudited county uploads.

Election Day is ballots cast in person on Election Day, as VIVID reports them through the day. 2022 has only the final count; its party breakdown leaves out counted provisional ballots. For 2024 the Secretary of State published 10 AM, 2 PM and close-of-polls reports: 2024 nearest uses the one closest in time of day, 2024 final the close of polls. Until 2026's polls close, compare party shares, not raw totals.
